Odds Oasis was founded by hotelier Miriam Castellanos, who believed the desert deserved a casino hotel with the soul of a garden estate. She planted the first 400 palms herself, insisted the guest towers be separated from the gaming floor, and wrote the service standards that still hang in every back-of-house corridor.
Today the resort spans 212 rooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, the Ember Spa, a 1,200-guest ballroom and a 60,000-square-foot gaming floor. A three-year renovation completed in 2025 restored the original lobby and added the Dune Sky Penthouse.
